The men and women of Henderson Police Department would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our community. The City of Henderson is strategically located within an hour’s drive to the City of Raleigh. Area transportation amenities inclusive of interstate, rail, and airport make our City a great alternative to the hectic pace of a large city, while affording the ability to provide a warm and inviting community atmosphere for families, business, and recreation.

The Henderson Police Department is internationally accredited and recognized as a "Flagship Agency" by the Commission Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). The department has an assigned strength of 58 sworn officers and a dedicated staff of 9 civilian employees.
